Second Person
You found a dead bee in the hatch of your car. You felt powerful because it was dead and could not sting you. You put it to your eye to see what you could see. And then one day it died.
First Person
I have a Ph.D. in English (with a creative dissertation) from a large Midwestern university on a big river. Now I teach on the tenure track of a smaller Midwestern university on the banks of a smaller river.
My first book, For Sale By Owner, is a collection of stories published by Kore Press in 2011.
